Things that help your hair grow and all of them I have tried. Flaxseed oil and geritol liquid, MSM and Biotin, Monistat 7 cream mixed with a moisturizer applied to scalp. YES monistat the vaginal cream. Makes your hair grow like weeds! and a multivitamin doesnt hurt either

Years ago I’ve heard that so I stopped using vitamins to have longer hair. Thanks Dr.

letsfly94 says
what about fish oil?
AccidentalAlli says
I did hear that fish oil advertises that. But what I also heard, for your nails, is that tapping on a desk helps them grow. Because it fools the brain into thinking they are breaking or something? But I don’t think it’s true.
dermTVdotcom says
@letsfly94 Fish oils, like vitamins and minerals, usually have no effect on hair or nails in normally nourished people.
dermTVdotcom says
@frugalbeauty: Yes, this also applies to skin supplements too.

Thank you for sharing this, I’ve always wondered about the authenticity of these claims by the manufacturer of these vitamins and have always kind of doubted that they work. Thank you for inviting me to your channel. It will be a pleasure being part of your good information. I’m a 52 year old male with long hair almost to my knees (my wife loves it, I would have cut it years ago). My wife has hair down below her knees and she is 63 years old and it’s thicker now than ever. GOOD FOOD!!!

So all those who advertise shampoo that will strengthen your hair are just using words people love to hear, garnier is supposed to strengthen your hair,I use it,doesn’t work, but smells nice.I will not be fooled again.

I started taking supplements (Hair, Skin & Nails) and notice a HUGE difference in my nails which got very long and hard. I’ve never had problem growing my hair, but for some reason my nails would always grow and break. In addition they were very brittle… Since taking Vitamins I’ve notice that I have so much more energy and I feel alot less stressed out. I was taking the supplements in the past and I noticed results after 3 months, but as soon as I stopped all my nails all broke off ๐

help i was taking fish oil and i noticed that it has given me an oder that wasnt present be4! my hair has grown but darn it people are avoiding me and the smell is making me sick! coming out of my pores?
dermTVdotcom says
@calledforhiswill: While there are certain conditions that actually make humans smell “fishy,” they are not triggered by consuming fish oil. If it persists for a month after stopping fish oil supplements, then see a dermatologist.
LadyTigerLily says
@Princessk918 It could be that you had a slight vitamin deficiency and by taking the supplement, it improved the state of your skin, which will definitely affect the appearance and feel of your skin and nails. Usually, those supplements are some kind of B complex, so if you take more than you need, you’ll flush them out because they’re water soluble.

wow, i never knew this before!

If you do not have any vitamin or mineral deficiencies, does this apply to all vitamin and mineral supplements (like multivitamins etc)?

Doesn’t drinking lemon water(1 litre of water and juice from 1 lemon) help your nails, hair and teeth become healthier?
