You are so wise for a 17 old guy! Remember one thing: All what those advertises want from you is to buy their stuff. Nothing else! It’s an artificial world, a sick one. They want you to have a sheep mentality, to buy what they produce; they want you to believe that otherwise you don’t “fit” or you are not good enough. Don’t believe it! You are a PERFECT human being created by the Grace of God! Be decent and take care of yourself. Love yourself for what you are.
Peace!

nutritional yeast only has b vitamin in it because it is so devoid of b vitamin that manufacturers add b vitamin supplementation to it

@cyclenut wow, you are an inspiration. If I try to eat every fruit and vegetable every day, plus some meat and take some vitamins, do you think I will feel better? I feel totally reatrded sometimes, yet other times I feel normal, i can actually think, i’m sure it is a sideeffect of bad nutrition.

Herbal and Vitamin supplements in the USA are mostly unregulated. PBS Newshour reported that many that have been tested contain little or non of the herbs they are supposed to contain, some supplements were nothing more than rice flour.

I was diagnosed 1.5 yrs ago = Type II diabetes. When that happened, I dropped most carbs. I use ground flax to make bready things, I eat ton of eggs, meat & chicken. Went to butter & EVOL. Not big on fish or veggies but try. I keep the dairy to a minimum. Cereals? Only All Bran original & just 2 Tbsp on my salads. Supps…B6/B12 & folic for homocysteine control, potassium, magnesium, 2000 units C & D3 daily. These changes have dropped my chol by 17%. Exercise….I’m lazy. I walk 30 x 3 wk.

“Too lazy to live” is a great title for a book. Thank you for these videos. I gave up TV a while ago, it took a lot of courage, but my life is so much better without that form mass hypnosis.

(20).For 3 years I have been learning about health. The diet I was raised on is very different than the diet I have now. I had no idea about growth hormones, GMO,or other scams.Influence on me:friends and Kingsolver’s book Animal,Vegetable,Miracle.Supplements that I own:Maca powder, ginseng, raw ginger, raw cacao beans, marshmallow root,Astragalus, grapefruit seed extract, oil of oregano, flaxseed oil, grape seed,b complex,Valerian/kava,ginko,st johns wort, (MORE)never all of these at the same time.

=) I love the new title of your book – I think America’s biggest problem is apathy. No one seems to care!!! I was shocked to learn from your video about the genetically modified “whole grains!” I look for Whole grain labels when I purchase food at the grocery store. I have also recently heard that a label that reads “organic” does not mean 100% organic….which infuriates me. Now I buy more of my food at the local farmer’s market.

Has anybody read the book, “Nutrition Science” by T Trainer (web: trainersplanet)?
A friend recommended it and said it has a wealth of info.
They said that it’s the Bible of nutrition n and dieting cause it tells you everything you need to know about nutrition that no other book does.

I always try to buy things, that have only one ingredient. For example, I never buy Yoghurts with some kind of flavor, only the pure natural ones. Instead of buying tomato-sauces in bottles, I rather chose fresh tomatoes and prepare a sauce myself. I never, never, never buy Cereals like Kellogg’s or things like that. I create my own mueslies (I’m from germany 🙂 ) from oat flakes, curd, sesame, honey, fresh fruits…whatever I wish to put into it.
NumHeut says
The peanut butter I use contains only what it should contain: Peanuts and Salt. I trained myself to build up an averseness to every E in food and I always (!) check the ingredients before buying something. Of course I eat burger and chocolate sometimes, but: I don’t consider it food, then. Its more like luxury food (like tobaco or something…).
NumHeut says
And I love comparing my things with the things other people are buying while standing at the cash point. I consider it as a must to have the best and healthiest products of all the people at the cash point.
I never take any supplements or things like that and guess what: Although I eat chocolate and stuff sometimes, don’t do to much sports and don’t work physically, my BMI is 21 without any diet, I feel healthy and have a lot of energy. 🙂

I try to eat a lot of oats mostly cereal with “organic” soy milk and granola bars . I use the hannaford granola fruit and nut cereal. maybe I’ll eat some apple sauce or some eggs with feta cheese. I work out often now and am starting to shape up and loose my stomach to my abs. I try my best to think smart, stay fresh and stay awake. The only problem is I’m addicted to a chemical that I smoke frequently day and night + cigarettes. I’m currently taking a load of vitamins with my small diet.
